Sister Judy B. Good is a Boston-based drag nun and member of the Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Her name draws from the historic queer term “good Judy,” used within LGBTQ+ communities to describe trusted friends and confidants. Through performance, community engagement, and education, Sister Judy strives to embody that spirit as a welcoming and compassionate presence. Since 2022, she has worked with the Sisters to promote queer joy, visibility, and service. Her interests include LGBTQ+ health education and queer history, particularly the ways community care and chosen family have shaped LGBTQ+ life across generations. Whether she’s performing, fundraising, or connecting with community members one-on-one, Sister Judy believes everyone deserves a good Judy in their corner.
