Stella Tension-hör

Began her journey to Sisterhood in the plains of Oklahoma just before the pandemic (yay timing) with the Sisters of the Sacred Heartland in Oklahoma City.

She was loved, elevated, and avowed in those barren plains where she began compiling as many writings she could get her hands on into The Whores’ Hymnal, an anthology of blessings, Sermons, poetry, and quips, by and for the Sisters.

She’s here in Boston to make a living while hoping to make a difference with this very capable and caring Convent of the Commonwealth.

Raised and braised by the Pentecostal church, she has an understanding of the spiritual needs of people while remaining an ‘emotional atheist. She’s hoping to become a full on queer church lady someday. She’s here to be worth a damn while helping y’all not give one.

Her mission is to always bring realism, positivity, and a constant need to try to understand the other side of a situation because anger doesn’t resolve conflict, understanding does. Blame the theater education. For that and the constant song lyrics.
