Novice Father Carm Des Garçon is an up-and-coming member of the house and an all around miracle of science. His name is a reference to “Commes Des Garçon”- a song and fashion brand, the pseudo-french phrase translating to “like the boys.” As a transgender activist tacking himself onto queer history, Carm unapologetically goes anywhere the boys go.
Carm joined Boston SPI in 2024 after being a long-time admirer of the audacious activism of The Sisters. You’ll spot him connecting with crowds, collecting dollar bills, flirting with gender roles, and building community at events across Massachusetts.
Some areas of focus particularly important to Carm’s work are public health, transgender rights, freedom of speech, LGBT families, and addressing loneliness in all corners of the community.
Novice Father Carm Des Garçon is supported (and driven around… “can we stop for coffee?”) by his loving Sister family.
