On Monday, April 8, 2013 Sisters Sandra Musique, Rosetta Stone, Eunice X, KrisTall Mighty, Postulant Penny Drive and Aspirant Jac met up at Club Cafe for Drag Bingo with Constance Waverly. This month’s beneficiary was Write Here, Write Now a workshop/support group for Queer authors trying to find a voice and get their stories published. The Sisters were hoping to raise $600 and as the seating area started to fill up they were hopeful. By the time the first round of Bingo was called (less than 30 minutes into the night) we had reached $450. As the roomed filled and more people arrived we could tell this would be a big night. Before 9pm, when RuPaul begins, we were over $800 and we hadn’t even started raising money for the Raffle. At the end of the night the final total was $1,310, making it our second highest bingo ever and bringing our total to-date just under $15,000!
