Saints “Mar-Go Make A Difference” and “Kev-In Good We Trust”, Margo and Kevin Budzynski
Let’s be honest here. Sister Santa would not have been nearly the success it was this year were it not for the Budzynskis. For starters, they came to a number of our Sister Santa fundraisers throughout the year including Bingos and our Christmas in July event at Democracy Brewing. But more importantly, when the end of the year approached, they arrived (with a friend!) to help Gloria and Heidi order presents for fifty kids (at about four gifts per kid, that is two-hundred gifts we ordered!). After all of the toys, sporting goods, and clothing arrived, they graciously offered up a large room with tables for us to use as a wrapping center – with free soda and pizza, to boot!! They put out the call for volunteers to assist with the wrapping and organizing and soon the room was FILLED with Santa’s little helpers. This year’s Sister Santa ran more smoothly than we had hoped and the wrapping party was the most organized and speediest it’s ever been – in VERY LARGE part to the assistance of these two beautiful beings.
