The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence once again found themselves at Church on Monday night, this time at Connexion in Somerville. The fine folk at All She Wrote books invited us to the launch of Divine Ruin by Margot Douaihy the latest installment of the punk rock nun-detective Sister Holiday series. Never one to ignore a fellow punk rocker of the cloth Sister Rosetta Stone, Sister Brother Freddie Anne Willing and Novice Carm des Garcon were pleased to be in attendance. Fellow author Ana Reyes guided the conversation of Noir vs Mystery, crafting plots with clues and dead ends, and navigating a life of faith in an age of struggle and pain. The audience was rapt and the QA further drove the conversation deeper into the minds of our writers. We were so blessed to take part and we thank everyone for their contributions to our charitable works.
