On Saturday September 13th, several sisters gathered at legacy for Furball
In attendance was Rosetta, Judy, Lida, Ima, Ave Carm, and Luke, also accompanied by friend of the Sisters, Taylor.
The evening began slowly, however, the room filled up after 11:30.
The Sisters did a ministry of presence, condom distribution, and a round of bucket collection.
During the early party of the evening, in order to engage and make Sisters visible, Rosie focused on condom distribution and handing out Sister pins, to a welcoming group.
There were many instances of Sisters being recognized and patrons reporting that they knew the Sisters, but hadn’t interacted with them in Boston until that night.
One of the go go dancers raised joy by dressing up in a mini skirt, simple black wimple, and white stockings with bows. A later appearance by the same dancer brought him to the floor with angels wings.
The bucket drive raised a total of $181.00 for the house’s general funds.
