Sister Brother Freddie Anne Willing and Sister Lida Christ made their was via the Red Line to Boston Common for the latest incarnation of No Kings. The event truly started while walking to the train station, as it seemed everyone had the event on their mind, and most were making their way to downtown with us. Spirits were high as the feelings of community and support hit instantaneously.
Once on the Common the crowds were vast, and powerful. In some ways it felt more like pride than a protest, as people celebrated each other and stood in defiance of tyranny. We were proud to be part of the largest protest in United States history. There is nothing more patriotic than advocating for your collective human rights.
